Dr. Dan Enke (CEO) Dan received his PhD in Molecular Biology and graduated as biochemist at Humboldt University, Berlin. He is a serial entrepreneur and was cofounder of Cyano Biotech GmbH and of Cyano Biofuels. Dan has worked with cyanobacteria since his diploma thesis in 1999 with a focus on the molecular biology and genetics of the biosynthesis of non-ribosomal peptides and polyketides. He is inventor or co-inventor of several patents related to cyanobacteria. |

Dr. Heike Enke (CSO)
Heike received her PhD in Biology and graduated as biologist at Humboldt University, Berlin. She is a serial entrepreneur and like Dan cofounded Cyano Biotech GmbH and Cyano Biofuels. Heike has been involved in cyanobacterial research since 1999. Her main focus was on combinatorial biosynthesis and heterologous expression systems in bacterial production strains. Heike participated in several inventions and patents in the field of cyanobacteria. |
